My Whole 30: Week 3 August 24, 2015

EatWhole30-Facebook-660x244Finished the 3rd week of my whole 30 without any crazy cravings, other than after my 55 mile bike ride, where I wanted a coke and a cupcake 😦  But, I settled for a Kombucha and watermelon, which refueled my body better than a cupcake anyway. Also made it through a baby shower with the best looking and smelling cake I’ve seen in quite some time, but just ate my fruit (and olives and pickles)! Here’s to my last week…and a few extra days! Going to finish strong!

Day 15:
B: breakfast casserole, banana and almond butter
L: chicken with roasted red pepper sauce, cabbage, watermelon and pineapple
S: rx bar
D: Cajun shrimp, asparagus, and spinach salad with bacon, avocado, and apples
Workout: strength program, 50 min swim

Day 16:
B: egg casserole, spinach and pineapple smoothie
L: shrimp, spinach salad, apple with almond butter
D: chicken bacon burger, roasted potatoes, zucchini
Workout: 4 mile run, yoga

Day 17:
B: egg casserole, grapes
L: burger, potatoes, and zucchini
S: banana and almond butter
D: pork chop, mashed cauli, turnip, and parsnip with sriracha, and roasted carrots with dill
Workout: strength training

Day 18:
B: eggs, bacon, potatoes, and avocado
S: grapes and kombucha
L: pork chop, mashed cauli, turnip, parsnip, carrots, watermelon
D: chicken burger, potatoes, salad
Workout: rest day

Day 19:
B: sweet potato hash and fried eggs
L: ham, pickles, olives, and fruit kabobs
D: lamb chop, potatoes, cabbage, carrots, and salad
Workout: 3 mile run/walk

Day 20:
B: eggs and grapes
S: larabars and grapes
L: chicken, marinara sauce, mixed veggies, mixed fruit
D: chicken burger topped with bacon and egg, spinach salad with avocado, fried potatoes and onion
Workout: 55 mile bike ride

Day 21:
B: chorizo breakfast casserole
L: green enchilada chicken, salad, grapes
D: shrimp, bacon, and spinach “Alfredo” and cauli rice
Workout: CrossFit
